Elaine Magerias, 92, of Manchester, NH, passed away March 10, 2017.

Elaine was born May 15, 1924 in Greece and had been a Manchester resident for many years.

Prior to retirement, Elaine and her husband John were proprietors of the Athens Restaurant in Manchester, NH.

Throughout the years, Elaine very much enjoyed traveling with her husband, John and also enjoyed time spent sewing as well as cooking delicious Greek food for family and friends.

Elaine was pre-deceased by her husband, John Magerias.

Family includes nieces, Bessie Gamas and her husband, George, Niki Pontidis and her husband, Kostas and Bessie Melas and her husband, Jimmy; nephews, Jimmy Soulios and his wife, Cathy and the late Stavros Soulios and his wife, Xanthi; many grandnieces and grandnephews; as well as many family members in Greece

Calling hours will be Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover Street in Manchester, NH.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in St. George Cathedral. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.

Memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.
